| Adam Lambert performs in San Diego July 30; tickets on sale next month
Last year’s “American idol” runner-up, former San Diegan Adam Lambert, will perform a July 30 concert at Copley Symphony Hall as part of his debut headlining national tour. Ex-Michael Jackson guitarist Orianthi will open the show for the charismatic singer with the powerful voice and glam-rock inspired stage persona. We wouldn't be surprised if the two join forces for a song.
Tickets go on sale June 12 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and we predict a quick sell-out. The highest priced seats are $40. Although the show here is not yet listed on Lambert's Web site, it was confirmed today by AEG Live, which is producing his Copley Symphony Hall gig.
